NHS Fife is inviting people from across the community to attend its annual organ and tissue donation memorial service, a special event to remember and honour those who have given the life‑saving gift of donation.
This year’s memorial event takes place on 13th May 2026 at 7pm in The Old Kirk, Kirk Wynd, Kirkcaldy KY1 1EN. The memorial is open to anyone who has been touched by organ and tissue donation, including family members and friends of donors, as well as people who have received an organ or tissue transplant.
Attendees are asked to arrive for 6.45pm and refreshments will be provided after the service.
The service brings together donor families, recipients, NHS staff and members of the public to reflect, share memories and offer thanks for the generosity that has transformed so many lives. It also provides a reflective space to come together, remember loved ones, and recognise the profound impact organ and tissue donation can have on individuals, families and communities.
