Target Audience– Managers and practitioners working with children and young people and who have a responsibility for assessing and responding to neglect issues.
FifeChild Protection Committee is pleased to invite you to our conference. Neglect is a priority area for action and we are very keen to engage with you in a dialogue about where Fife is now and where we need to be in the future to ensure that children and young people affected by neglect are kept safe from harm.
This is a ‘working’ conference with a focus on table discussion which will provide participants with an opportunity to share their own practice, ideas and thinking, which will inform developments in Fife.
Expected Outcomes-
- A shared understanding of what constitutes neglect
- Awareness of the impact of neglect on children and young people
- A fuller understanding of good practice in Fife and response to neglect issues within the staged intervention model
