Our Public Health Test and Protect team has been investigating COVID-19 cases at the following schools in the NHS Fife area since the last update on Tuesday 10 November 2020.

Where contact tracing is necessary, risk management and the provision of isolation advice has been undertaken in conjunction with Fife Council Education staff.

 

Primary Schools

Bellyeoman Primary School - Dunfermline

  • One positive case associated with the school

Calaiswood Primary School - Dunfermline

  • One positive case associated with the school.

Carleton Primary School - Glenrothes

  • One positive case associated with the school

Coaltown of Wemyss Primary School

  • One positive case associated with the school

East Wemyss Primary School

            One positive case associated with the school

Foulford Primary School - Cowdenbeath

  • Two positive cases associated with the school.

Kirkcaldy West Primary School

  • Two positive cases associated with the school.

Lawhead Primary school – St Andrews

  • One positive case associated with the school

Methilhill Primary School

  • Five positive cases associated with the school.

Pathhead Primary School - Kirkcaldy

  • One positive case associated with the school.

Sinclairtown Primary School - Kirkcaldy

  • Two positive cases associated with the school

Southwood Primary School - Glenrothes

  • One positive case associated with the school.

St Agatha’s Primary School - Leven

  • One positive case associated with the school

Strathallan Primary School - Kirkcaldy

  • One positive case associated with the school

Torryburn Primary School - Dunfermline

  • Eight positive cases associated with the school
  • School is currently closed for staffing reasons

Touch Primary School - Dunfermline

  • One positive case associated with the school

Levenmouth Academy

  • Two positive cases associated with the school

Viewforth High School - Kirkcaldy

  • Three positive cases associated with the school.

Woodmill High School - Dunfermline

  • Four positive cases associated with the school

Where there is more than one confirmed case, this does not necessarily suggest transmission within the school and may relate to a sibling or household group, or it may be separate incidences of community-acquired infection.
