If you received your 2nd dose more than 24 weeks ago, you are eligible to receive your COVID booster if you meet any of the following criteria:
- If you are aged 50 years or over;
- If you are aged 16 to 49 years with an underlying health conditions that puts you at higher risk of severe coronavirus;
- If someone in your household (aged 16 or over) is immunocompromised.
If you are eligible for the booster then you will be able to receive your annual flu jab at the same appointment!
How to book
You can book online and get an appointment at a time and in a place that suits your needs by visiting the vaccination portal at: www.nhsinform.scot/hscwvaccination
If you are unsure if you are in an eligible group for COVID-19 vaccination, the portal includes a simple guide to help you. You should use the portal even if it is just the flu vaccine you need to book.
You will need a username and password to access the portal – don’t worry if you don’t have a note of these. You can obtain your username using the 'recover username' link and can reset your password by clicking the 'forgotten your password' option. You will be asked to provide the date of your first or second vaccination - if you don’t know the exact date then please provide an approximate date.
