The emergency gas issue at Kirkcaldy Health Centre has been resolved.

Remedial works are taking place this afternoon to allow the three GP practices to safely return to the site.

Interim arrangements will remain in place for the rest of today and GP services will return to Kirkcaldy Health Centre tomorrow morning, where the practices will look to reintroduce services in full over the next couple of days. The adjoining Well Pharmacy will also re-open tomorrow morning.

Due to the reduced service that has been running since the site closed last week, there will be a backlog of activity for practice teams to work through. If you had any scheduled appointments postponed, you will be contacted in due course.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank patients for their continued patience and understanding during this challenging time, and to thank practice staff who have put in a significant amount of work behind the scenes to ensure that many patient-facing services have continued.

A reminder that if you are a patient at Kirkcaldy Health Centre and urgently require healthcare that cannot wait today, please call 01592 729 250. In a serious emergency always call 999.
