Pocket Guide to Victoria Hospital's New Wing
Pocket guides are now available to help everyone find their way around the new wing at Victoria Hospital.
This handy, colour coded guide contains easy to understand maps to help you get to where you need to go.
It has information about service moves as well as alternative ideas on how to travel to hospital such as taking the bus, cycling and walking.
There is a comprehensive map of the hospital grounds to show where car parking is located along with a list of helpful telephone numbers should you need to contact one of the new wards.
General Hospitals and Maternity Services Manager, Ann McCarlie explained: “The pocket guides have been designed to help patients, staff and visitors navigate around the extended hospital site. It indicates where to find bus stops, the new main entrance as well as the location of each car park.”
“There is a map of each floor which illustrates the location of each ward and department, and where lifts and staircases are situated. It also shows where the new building joins on to the existing building on the ground floor.”
“We hope that our patients their families and visitors will find this handy sized guide helpful when coming to the Victoria Hospital.”
Pocket guides can be picked up from GP Practices, Health Centres, Pharmacies, Fife Council offices and Libraries, or can be downloaded from www.nhsfife.org
