Accident & Emergency (Know Who To Turn To)

For Example: Serious illness and injury; chest pain; collapse; severe allergic reactions; suspected heart attack or stroke

Accident and Emergency (A&E) Services provide care for people who show the symptoms of serious illness or are badly injured.

A&E and calling 999 should only be used for serious illnesses or injuries, so that essential treatment is given as quickly as possible to those who need it most.

A&E Services are located at Victoria Hospital and operates 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

 

Did You Know?

If you attend Accident and Emergency and it is felt that you are not using the service appropriately you may be advised to attend an alternative service such as your GP or the Out-of-Hours service.
