Profile

The aims of the band are:

to develop musicianship
to provide entertainment for local community groups and raise money for charity
to have fun

Who can join the band:

anyone with a suitable instrument (brass, woodwind or percussion) and musicianship
anyone with musicianship but no instrument, providing an instrument is available from the band's stock
complete novices - providing an instrument is available and there is a willingness to commit to tuition and personal practice

Membership:

Prospective members are welcome to attend rehearsals for 3 months. Those wishing to join the band after 3 months are expected to make a serious commitment to the band.

Annual fee: £38 adult; £10 children (9 - 17 years)
