West Fife Enterprise Ltd are the longest established training provider in the West Fife villages. The organisation was established in 1983 by a group of community activists who realised that the decline in mining and heavy industry was having a detrimental impact on the local community. We were aware that people in the community were facing real barriers to employment due to lack of relevant work experience and no adequate or relevant qualifications. We realised it was vital to the community to provide people with training, learning and development opportunities. Qualifications currently available are: European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), stand alone National Units in Administration and Performing Engineering Operations at SVQ Level 1 & 2. Work experience and job seeking skills are also part of the programme.
