We are a community-based big band which plays fund-raising concerts for charities and good causes throughout Fife and occasionally further afield. To date we have helped local groups to raise in the region of £25,000. We play a core repertoire of swing numbers with some blues, film and show tunes. We rehearse weekly during term-time and play around 6 concerts a year. We welcome players of all ages and abilities - current members range from 13 to 90+, and from virtual novices to ex-professionals. The only criterion is that they must be able to read music. We have a limited number of instruments available for hire to members for a nominal annual charge.
