There are twelve state of the art public sports centres, swimming pools and fitness suites located across Fife. Add to that a wide choice of private gyms, spas and recreational facilities and getting fit, keeping fit or simply having fun in Fife couldn’t be easier.

Fife’s sports fans are also spoilt for choice. Fife is home to four senior football clubs, national league rugby teams and some of the countries top village cricket sides.

For those with a passion for motorsports you can follow the national speedway leagues and stock-car racing at Cowdenbeath, while at Dunfermline’s Knockhill racing track, petrol-heads can feast upon international saloon car racing and British and world super-bikes.

Fife Council also offer a great Outdoor Education service, based at Lochore Meadows Country Park. Courses are available throughout the year including hillwalking, rock climbing, sailing, kayaking and mountain biking.
