Leven is a thriving seaside town situated on the East coast of Fife between the picturesque east Neuk fishing villages on one side and the main towns of Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes on the other.

Leven has good shopping facilities and a busy pedestrianized thorough fare well served by parking facilities within easy walking distance of the Town centre. The Town is also served by reasonable bus services and has its own bus station. Leven has a pleasant promenade and beach area and is a popular holiday destination. Local attractions include an excellent swimming pool and leisure complex, a variety of golf courses, including easy access to a ladies course at nearby Lundin Links. Letham Glen and Silverburn Park offer attractive landscaped picnic and recreational areas.
