Robust stakeholder consultation is mandated through the Scottish Capital Investment Manual (SCIM) business case process and this is endorsed and upheld by NHS Fife. Wide consultation has taken place with staff and service users throughout the design process to ensure the building will meet the needs of the service sustainably into the future.
Specific service user / public consultation events have been highlighted below, and this is in addition to regular staff consultation sessions that have been necessary to inform the design. Health Facilities Scotland (HFS) and Architecture and Design Scotland (A+DS) have also been consulted throughout the design process in-keeping with SCIM requirements.
