Some ScotRail conductors are to strike for 24 hours from 00:01 hours on Tuesday, 21 June, affecting approximately 30 per cent of services.
This is the first in a series of six planned strikes concluding on 17 July.
This may mean travel disruption for those who normally travel to work by train and may also impact on train journeys prior to and after the strike hours. It is expected roads and buses may also be busier than usual.
ScotRail has set up a dedicated page on their website (http://bit.ly/1UQfpyy) where they have identified the services which are expected to run as normal, those expected to operate on a reduced service and those which are expected to be cancelled. ScotRail will post updates on this page, including summary timetables for strike days.
