Following the disruption caused by a car colliding with St Andrews Community Hospital, a number of services are returning to normal.

Yesterday’s incident caused significant damage to the GP practice area and led to GP services and a small number of physiotherapy and rehabilitation appointments being rescheduled.

However, all rehabilitation and physiotherapy sessions are now running as usual and the Blackfriars GP Practice is also fully operational. The Pipeland Practice continues to receive emergency patients only and if there is a need for urgent GP assessment, please contact your GP Practice as normal; this arrangement will continue to be in place until Tuesday 14 June.

All inpatient care remains unaffected and wards should be contacted in the usual manner.

Work is now underway to remove the vehicle from the hospital wall and this is expected to be completed over the weekend.
