We need a hero. And at this stage, with just one week to go until nominations for the Scottish Health Awards close (on Thursday 31stAugust at 5pm), we no longer mean just any old healthcare hero. Now we’re asking you to think hard about a certain kind of hero.
Does your boss lead from the front? Who do you know that’s the pinnacle of palliative care? Which young health care professional has really impressed you over the past year? Do you know a doctor or a midwife whose care and professionalism is second to none? Who do you know that has a way with older people?
So ask yourself, which colleagues you could nominate under any of the following categories:
- Optometrist
- Midwife
- Care for Long Term Illness
- Young Achiever
- Integrated Care of Older People
- Leader of the Year
- Doctor
These are the categories we know are currently underrepresented in the Scottish Healthcare Achievement Awards 2017 in Fife. So, look around you. Because these are exactly the sort of people we need YOU to nominate to get NHS Fife to the top table in the Scottish Health Awards 2017. We know we have many fantastic staff; we just need to let everyone else know.
