NHS Fife was awarded funding from Queens Nursing Institute for Scotland to devise and deliver a social prescribing project with one Fife Council Gypsy Travellers site. The project was completed earlier this year with a full evaluation now available - please click on link below. The project worked directly with the community using a person centred approach and involved many ‘good conversations’ which allowed the nursing team to explore issues relevant to their health needs. The results of the project involved a wide range of services, built successful partnerships and created strong bond of trust between NHS Fife and Gypsy Travellers.
