NHS Fife can confirm that an individual with links to Torbain Nursery in Kirkcaldy has tested positive for COVID-19.

As a precaution, all children at Torbain Nursery are asked not to attend nursery tomorrow (18/09) and should self-isolate until Tuesday 29 Sept 2020 before returning to nursery on Wednesday 30 Sept 2020.

There is no evidence of any transmission within the nursery at this stage and the risk to children and staff is low. All other pupils in the school are asked to attend as normal.

Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal at: https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or by calling 0800 028 2816.
