NHS Fife is delighted to appoint Neil McCormick as Director of Property and Asset Management, encompassing all aspects of Estates, Facilities and Capital Planning services for NHS Fife.

Neil will take up his new post on 01 February 2021, succeeding Andy Fairgrieve who is retiring in March 2021.

Neil joins NHS Fife with over 30 years’ experience of working at a senior level across the public and private sectors.

Neil joins NHS Fife from Robertson Capital Projects, where he was Managing Director with specific responsibility for delivering infrastructure projects and Joint Ventures with the public sector including NHS Frameworks

Prior to working with Robertson Capital Neil was Director of Strategic Projects and Property for NHS Forth Valley and Project Director for the £300m Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

“I am delighted that Neil will be taking up the position of Director of Property and Asset Management with NHS Fife.

“Neil is joining NHS Fife at an exciting time and will oversee the build of our new £33 million Fife Orthopaedic Elective Centre that we anticipate getting final planning approval this week.

“Neil has garnered considerable experience throughout his career in the Private Sector and NHS and I know that this experience will be a huge asset to NHS Fife in terms of managing and maximising our estate and continuing to ensure a safe environment for our patients and staff to deliver modern and effective health and social care services.

“I look forward to working alongside him in his new role as we continue to address the challenges that COVID-19 brings to the NHS and our communities.”
