Ramadan

This year, Ramadan will be from 12/13 April to 12/13 May 2021 (depending on moon sightings). This means that due to COVID19,  2021 Ramadan will be a very different experience for British Muslims. Whilst restrictions will be more relaxed compared to 2020, many of the usual practices normally observed such as going to the mosque for iftar and visiting friends and family indoors will sadly still not be possible this year.

This safe Ramadan guide provides advice and signposting resources to help Muslims in Britain
make the most of the month of Ramadan, as well as helping friends, neighbours and colleagues of Muslims understand the some of the implications of certain aspects of Ramadan i.e. fasting, on going to school or work, working from home and potential vaccine appointments, whilst staying safe and supporting the fight against the virus .
