Face-to-face appointments remain a key element of the GP service, with more than 10,000 appointments carried out in this way each week across Fife.
However, practices are still required to follow national guidance, including enhanced infection control measures and social distancing within waiting areas, meaning they are having to work differently to how they would normally, and provide more remote consultations.
