Glenrothes Hospital was official opened in October 1981. The hospital has over 80 nursing staff and over 60 beds, as well as around 20 day hospital beds. Glenrothes Hospital provides a wide range of services including; speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics, district nurses, health visitors, podiatry, hospital pharmacy and x-ray services. There is, however, no accident and emergency service within this hospital.
Location & Transport
Public bus services 36 and 37 operate frequently from the Town Centre Bus Station to Glenrothes Hospital. Copies of the bus timetable are available at main reception, as well as being displayed on the front door. Please note the timetable should be checked carefully, as the bus does not always come into the bus turning circle at the hospital.
