European Antibiotic Awareness Day highlights the importance of using antibiotics responsibly to preserve their effectiveness for future generations.

The leaflet and posters below highlight that common infections such as coughs, colds, sore throats and earache, cannot be cured by antibiotics and that doctors will only prescribe antibiotics when they are really needed. They also provide advice about how to manage symptoms associated with these common infections.
