NHS FIFE Needs You!

Are you prepared to go above and beyond to support vital front line community services through these challenging times?

At the Workforce Mobilisation Hub we are co-ordinating the deployment of staff with all levels of skills including: Nursing, AHPs, Health Care Support Roles and Administrative Staff and even staff that would be willing to undertake ‘General Duties’.

This could be a great opportunity to work in new and exciting areas e.g. Community Hospitals; Hospital at Home; District  Nursing; Phlebotomy; Urgent Care to name a few.

Has your service stopped non-essential service provision releasing vital workforce capacity to help other areas?  Could you be released from your substantive post? Speak to your line manager now! Services may be able to release a staff member for mobilisation or even be able to release a staff member for part of their contractual working hours.  We are happy to facilitate the full or partial mobilisation of staff.

Would you be interested in undertaking additional hours (Extra Hours or Overtime)? A few hours, a few days, a few weeks, no support is too little. If you feel you could help then Call the Workforce Mobilisation Hub on 01383 565260 or email

NHS Fife Practice and Professional Development are developing a range of resources to support staff prepare for Mobilisation:
