What does BBV mean?

BBV stands for Blood-Borne Virus. These are a group of viruses which are passed from person-to-person through infected blood and other bodily fluids (e.g. semen and vaginal fluids). Examples of BBVs are Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV. More details on BBV Service in Fife.
