Research, Clinical Audit and Service Evaluation

Research, clinical audit and service evaluation are an integral part of the work undertaken in the Psychology Department. Psychology staff are involved in a variety of projects from small scale evaluation and clinical audit, to large scale research studies. The Department has strong links to NHS Fife's Research & Development Department and seeks to work in partnership with educational institutions including the University of St Andrews and the University of Edinburgh. Many of our audit, evaluation and research projects form part of the core professional training of postgraduate level psychology students. All projects arise from clinical need and are designed to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our services in line with psychology service, NHS Fife and national priorities. A list of recent publications by NHS Fife psychology staff is available on request.
