Occupational Therapists will work with a person by assessing and designing an individual treatment plan to assist people to manage the things they have to do in everyday life, such as leisure or work activities, working in the kitchen and getting out in the community. They will do this in a number of ways; for example modifying the environment surrounding the person and or specific treatment sessions to increase confidence and abilities in particular activities.
