Changes to management of Park Road Medical Practice

NHS Fife will take over the management of the practice from 1 April 2023 and we do not anticipate there being any significant changes for patients.

The Practice will be one of a small number currently being managed by the Health Board. The intention is that this arrangement would only be temporary until such times as new GP Partners can be identified.

You should continue to contact the practice in the usual way.

Yes – please be assured that all the necessary steps are being taken to ensure you have continued and uninterrupted access to local medical services.

If you need to be assessed then you will be seen by the most appropriate clinician in the practice team dependent on your particular condition. In some cases, this will be the GP, although it may be another member of the experienced practice team, such as an advance nurse practitioner, pharmacist or physiotherapist.

Remaining members of the well-established practice team at Park Road, which includes GPs currently working within the practice whom you will already know, will remain and provide continuity in delivering services to you.

Park Road Medical Practice will remain fully operational throughout this process.

Despite the national challenge in recruiting to GP vacancies, Park Road remains stable with an experienced and well-established practice team.

Work has already began to find new GP partners to take over management of the Practice.
