Contact Scotland BSL logo
Contact Scotland BSL is Scotland’s British Sign Language Interpreting Video Relay Service (VRS) which lets you get in touch with all of Scotland’s public bodies and third sector organisations.
The Deaf Communication Service provides a range of advice, support and equipment for people with a hearing loss. This includes people who are Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, deafblind and Deaf BSL users.
We provide advice, support and information to carers, families and professionals in relation to deafness. This includes workplace assessments for employees with a hearing loss.
We can advise and provide appropriate communication support for meetings: for example BSL interpreters, Electronic Notetakers, Hands on (tactile) interpreters and lipspeakers. British Sign Language taster sessions and Deaf Awareness sessions can be booked on CLMS for Fife Council Employees. Find training dates on our Training Flyer. All courses are currently fully booked other than Deaf Awareness Training on 20 December and BSL Taster Session on 4 December. Names can be added to the waiting list. Contact us if you require bespoke training tailored to your service needs.
