Disabled Parking (council car parks)

Fife Council provides public car parks where there is a greater demand for parking which would otherwise cause unacceptable levels of traffic congestion. These car parks are for use by the general public and are provided near town centres, public transport interchanges etc.

Within most Fife Council public car parks there are a number of free dedicated disabled parking bays for use by vehicles displaying a valid blue badge. There is no need to purchase and display a parking ticket if you are parked displaying a blue badge.

To prevent abuse of disabled bays they are protected by a Traffic Regulation Order to allow enforcement of the parking bays. Information relating to these Legal Orders are provided in the publication list at the bottom of the page.

If you require more information on Fife Council public car parks please speak to Transportation Services via the contact officer below.
