The Orthopaedic service has led the way in delivering an innovative and excellent service, currently providing same day major joint replacement surgery, implementing the philosophy of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) and providing excellent standards of care.

The centre will offer excellent experience and learning opportunities in dealing with Orthopaedic patients and unique opportunities for professional and personal development for registered nurses who are keen to develop their knowledge and clinical skills within Orthopaedics.

The elective Orthopaedic ward will be an advanced nurse practitioner led unit and the successful applicant must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your personal qualities should include excellent organisational skills together with a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within the team.
