In 2024, we set our new five-year strategy for making a positive difference across Fife. Our commitment to the patients and staff of NHS Fife is as strong as it has ever been but we recognised that we can do more to benefit the people of Fife, to enable them to live well and flourish. We want to be bold and ambitious and play our part in building a healthier future for the people of Fife.
Who we support
Our charity’s funds are not there to fund NHS services. Our funds add to and enhance what the NHS itself can fund. We do this by providing grants that will benefit:
Patients
We provide grants for projects and activities, led by colleagues within NHS Fife and the Health and Social Care Partnership, that will enhance the care and experience of patients in hospitals and services across Fife.
Staff
We provide grants that support NHS staff to further develop their knowledge and skills which will benefit the patients they care for.
We provide grants that support and improve the physical and mental wellbeing of NHS staff as we know this in turn benefits patients.
Communities
We provide grants to support community-led activities focused on improving mental wellbeing and support for children and young people.

Through our grants we want to:
- Improve patient experience
- Enhance individuals' mental well-being
- Advance the skills and knowledge of staff
- Mitigate health inequalities through early intervention and prevention
- Increase support for children and young people
- Promote staff physical and mental health
