Fife wide public engagement forum

Building working relationships between the public, NHS Fife, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership and the Integration Joint Board.

New Fife wide public engagement forum

The Fife Wide Public Engagement Forum will be a space to build working relationships between the public, NHS Fife, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership and the Integration Joint Board where we will work together to help identify and prioritise the needs of Fife’s residents in health and social care planning and decision making.

The vision - A space for members of the public to help shape Health and Social Care services in Fife for the future.

The mission - To develop a forum that is accessible to members of the public, care providers and health and social care services to work together and improve services for those who use them.

Our aims –

  • Creation of a platform where every voice matters and where health and social care services are designed based on the needs of the people they serve.
  • A forum which offers open communication channels and builds trust between members of the public and the Integration Joint Board.
  • A forum which encourages and supports members of the public to develop knowledge and awareness around decision-making processes and have an active role in positive change.

What is Fife Health and Social Care Partnership?

Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is a partnership between Fife Council and NHS Fife that works closely with the independent and third sector to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Fife.

What is the Fife Integration Joint Board? (IJB)

The IJB has responsibility for the strategic planning, resourcing, and the operational oversight of a wide range of adult health and social care services and children’s health services.
