NHS Fife is providing an update after the three medical practices based within Kirkcaldy Health Centre postponed routine appointments yesterday following a confirmed case of COVID-19.
A number of practice staff have been required to self-isolate following contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 associated with Kirkcaldy Health Centre.
There continues to be no evidence of any risk to patients at this stage and no patients have been required to self-isolate.
Arrangements for patient appointments for the remainder of this week are as follows:-
- Drs Dixon, Duggan, Egerton, McCrickard & MacKernan - Existing routine appointments will continue as normal, however, no further routine appointments can be made at this time.
- Drs McKenna, Morris & Murphy – All routine appointments will be postponed for the remainder of this week. This also includes those appointments scheduled to take place by phone and by video link.
- Drs Mitchell, Fordyce and Lempke – Existing routine appointments will continue as normal, however, no further routine appointments can be made at this time.
Those patients requiring urgent review or assessment can continue to do by contacting their practice by telephone as normal.
