As everyone aged 30 and over is now being sent a vaccination invite and a registration service has been opened for all 18 to 29-year-olds, the unpaid carer registration service is now only available for those aged 16 and 17.
If you are aged 16 or 17 and fall into one of the following categories, you may be eligible to register for the COVID-19 vaccine now.
An unpaid carer is someone who falls into one of these categories. Do you?
- care for someone due to old age, physical or mental illness, disability or for an addiction
- regularly help someone with shopping, preparing meals, washing and dressing
- provide vital and regular face-to-face emotional support to someone with a long-term health condition
- regularly provide vital face-to-face care to a family member, friend or neighbour
