Alex Mcmahon Visit Fife

Chief Nursing Officer, Professor Alex McMahon, yesterday visited NHS Fife to meet with staff and teams to hear more about their work and the challenges they have faced during the pandemic. 

Professor McMahon spoke with teams during a virtual meeting to hear more about a wide range of work including Perinatal Mental Health, Neonatal Transitional Care, the Journeying Through Dementia project, and the work of healthcare scientists throughout the pandemic. 

His visit included seeing the first-hand benefits of the Simulation Centre, as well as visits to the Urology DTC and Wards 5 and 6 at Queen Margaret. 

Later in the day Professor McMahon visited Lynebank Hospital to meet the Care at Home Liaison team, Immunisation Team and staff and patients at Daleview.
