NHS Fife use the Queuebuster call handling system across acute outpatient services, allowing for effective queue management to improve efficiency and patient experience.
The system informs patients of their place in the queue, and if they’ve queued for 5 minutes, they will be offered a call back, reducing call abandonment.
It also allows us to monitor call peak times, and effectively plan staffing to suit as well as being able to monitor calls for training purposes.
There are currently plans to increase the number of services using the system to improve the experience for patients who contact NHS Fife.
