Information was sought about the current criteria for an adult to be added to a waiting list for an ADHD assessment in Fife.

Adult ADHD Assessments in Fife:
Adults can request a referral through their GP. Referrals are then reviewed on an individual basis by the multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team, who offer an assessment which takes into account patient history, symptoms and mental health.
Support Available (with or without diagnosis):
NHS Fife and Fife Health & Social Care Partnership have undertaken a pilot over the last two years aimed at improving the service response for people with neurodiversity. This work has established the following supports which are available to all, with or without a formal diagnosis, based on the Royal College of Psychiatrists best practice first line interventions of environmental modification and cognitive behavioural therapy.
