NHS Fife is pleased to welcome Councillor Patrick Browne as a new Fife Council representative on the Fife NHS Board.
Councillor Browne was elected to represent the Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay (Ward 6) ward on Fife Council in 2022 and currently serves as Fife Council’s spokesperson for Health and Social Care.
The appointment of Councillor Browne commenced on 01 July 2026. He succeeds previous Fife Council representative, Councillor Mary Lockhart, who left the Fife NHS Board earlier this year.
As a member of the NHS Fife Board, Councillor Browne will help strengthen the link between the health board and local government, supporting partnership working to improve health and care services for people across Fife.
