Control IT: Patient Education for patients newly diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
These group sessions are run by Dietitians who are members of our Diabetes and Weight Management team. They explain things in a way that is easy to understand. The sessions take place in different places across Fife each month.
In the group, people can raise questions or concerns about their diabetes. They can also share successes they have had. Being in a group can help people feel more confident and remind them that they are not facing diabetes on their own.
You can book a place on Control IT by filling out the self referral form or contact us by email: fife.diabeteseducation@nhs.scot . You can also ask your GP or nurse to refer you.
