Fife community cardiac specialist nurse service

If you have a recently diagnosed heart  condition you will be referred to the Fife Community Cardiac Specialist Nurse Service for support during your recovery, participation is highly recommended.

Point of referral to the service is generally following hospital admission but can sometimes happen at another stage of your recovery depending on your condition. Referrals are made by your healthcare  professional.

Cardiac rehabilitation provides education, practical and emotional support, information and individually tailored exercise if required.  Additionally Cardiac Rehabilitation provides an opportunity to meet others/peers with similar heart conditions which you may find  very reassuring.

have to get on with it … life has to  adjust.. but there is definitely life after a heart attack”
