Planned surgery

Pre-assessment  Referral process What to expect with planned surgery Consent for surgery Getting ready for surgery

Where will you be seen

Planned or elective surgery can be thought of as surgery aimed at improving quality of life. Our planned surgical operations will take place in the National Treatment Centre on the grounds of the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy or the Day Surgery Unit at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.

You will receive a letter confirming your date of surgery, this will provide you with all the information that you need.
