General conditions

Musculoskeletal and orthopaedic concerns are common in children and young people. This is a result of their rapid growth and changing skeletal system.

Many concerns, known as normal variants (flat feet, in-toeing, toe problems in children) can be mistaken as pathology when they are actually just part of normal development. See our Resources section below for help with these conditions.

Return Appointments

If you have an appointment for a return visit to the clinic and you are unable to attend please call the booking office on 01383 674105 to arrange an alternative date.

Investigations

If you have attended for investigation i.e. MRI/US SCAN and have not heard anything within 6 weeks, please call the Orthopaedic Secretary on 01592 729071 to check if your scan has been reported. You may receive an appointment to return to the clinic or we may write to you with the result.
