When does a child get an appointment?
The child or young person should be given an appointment within 12 weeks.
The appointment letter
They will be sent an appointment letter which will detail the day, date and time of appointment. It will indicate the type of appointment being offered. They may be asked to attend the hospital for a face-to-face appointment or they may be asked to attend a virtual clinic, either by telephone or by video technology (Near Me).
