Our planned care is delivered from the National Treatment Centre, Fife Orthopaedics. This is a new purpose-built facility which on the grounds of the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy and which serves the population of Fife and Lothian. In addition, our Day Surgery Unit at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline specialises in planned and emergency hand, foot, knee and shoulder operations.
We also run Outpatient clinics across all of our sites, in the Victoria Hospital, The National Treatment Centre and our Day Intervention Centre in Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy as well as in our Day Surgery Unit in Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.
Our emergency (trauma) service is based at the Victoria Hospitla in Ward 33, where we specialise in trauma and fractures for those aged under 65, and Ward 31, which is home of our specialist ortho-geriontology team who deals with specialist hip fractures and frailty for those aged over 65.
