Depending on what service you attended and what’s wrong with you, you will have different contact options. Choose which option fits your situation.

I have a general question after my surgery I’d like to ask a health professional.


Please call the Single Point of Contact number on 01592 643355 extension 22685 between the hours of 0800-1600 Monday to
Friday only. If required, a clinic review will be arranged.

I attended an orthopaedic clinic appointment and have an issue I forgot to ask about.

Contact your named consultant's secretary via the switchboard on 01592 643355.

I have concerns about my healing process after attending the fracture clinic

Our Orthopaedic Outpatient Fracture Helpline is available on 01592 643355 extension 22685 

8am and 4pm Monday – Friday only 

If you have a problem out with these times, contact your GP, NHS24 on 111 or attend A&E.

I missed a call from the Virtual Fracture Clinic number 01592 647198, and it’s about my injury

Do not call the number as it doesn’t received incoming calls. Call the virtual fracture clinic (VFC) back directly on 01592 643355 extension 20140 and leave a message. A member of the VFC team will contact you.

I have an issue with my moon boot and need to discuss it. 

Our Orthopaedic Plaster Room is available on 01592 643355 extension 29794. 
8:30am and 4pm Monday to Friday only

I have an urgent issue with my plaster cast but it is the weekend.

If you have an urgent cast or moon boot problem outside Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, please attend the Accident and Emergency department.
