How to contact orthopaedics

This section is designed to help you to find the information you need to contact the trauma and orthopaedic department.

Planned care

We run the planned care service from the National Treatment Centre, Fife Orthopaedics in the grounds of the Victoria Hospital.  We also see patients for planned surgery at the Day Surgery Unit at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.

Emergency (trauma) care

The emergency (trauma) service is based at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy in Wards 31 and 33.  Note that you may be admitted to any other surgical bed based on availability.

We also see trauma patients in the Day Surgery Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital, typically of the hand or arm.

Outpatient care

Outpatient clinics run across our sites in the Victoria Hospital and the National Treatment Centre, both in Kirkcaldy and in our Day Surgery Unit in Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline.
