We have 46 GPSTs working in placements in NHS Fife hospitals as ST1s or ST2s in various specialties such as:-

Dermatology; Emergency Medicine; General Internal Medicine; General Psychiatry; Geriatric Medicine; Obstetrics & Gynaecology; Old Age Psychiatry; Ophthalmology; Otolaryngology; Paediatrics & Neonatology; Palliative Care Medicine.

GPST Core Teaching Programme

We have a bespoke GPST Core Education Programme – a series of presentations following the RCGP guidelines delivering teaching for the future GP for the hospital based trainee on Fridays 1 to 2pm. This teaching programme covers a wide range of subjects listed in the Topic Guides for Professional, Life Stages and Clinical delivered by local clinicians.

Attendance: Registration is taken on the TUBS  iPads (remote attendees please confirm attendance via email  Feedback and certificates are also active on TUBS.  Feedback is checked monthly and helps evolve the teaching.
