I’m Dr Sangita Bohra, a Speciality doctor with NHS Fife’s Rehabilitation Psychiatry Services. Prior to coming to NHS Fife, things had been challenging at times, it seemed, with me always struggling to balance family and work commitments.
Since joining the Psychiatry team here however, I’ve felt that I do have appropriate support allowing me to contribute effectively to the team, without ever having to compromise my family responsibilities. I’ve always appreciated the opportunity to talk through options and solutions with my managers to balance both work and family commitments.
What matters most to me is to have the sense of being treated as a valued member of the team and have that all important good work life balance.
