Congratulations to East Division staff that have successfully completed the Best Practice in Dementia Care Programme

This programme was developed by Stirling University and is an SCQT and City & Guild Accredited. It also meets the Skilled Practitioner level in the Promoting Excellence Framework.

The Successful Learners can now implement a person -centred approach and provide evidence based interventions in Dementia Care.

Feedback from the group was very positive saying that the course helped them have a better understanding of the condition and how dementia impacts on individuals and their families. It has provided them with tools and knowledge of resources available to help.
